Fertilizer Covers
For those who like to use organic fertilizer pellets on their bonsai, these small plastic mesh cups are very useful. Fertilizer is placed in the cups and then they are inverted on the soil surface. The small plastic tines on each cup hold it and the fertilizer inside of it, in place so that it dosen't get washed away by rain or daily watering. They are particularly useful when the soil surface of the bonsai is curved such as on a rock planting or stone clasping style bonsai. The cups also prevent insects from laying eggs in the fertilizer mixture.
