If you think the Ph levels in your bonsai soil are not what they should be, here's a quick and inexpensive way of finding out. The meter does work, but at this price, don't expect ten digit read out. When inserted into the soil mass the tool's probe will give you a general reading of the alkaline or acid condition of your bonsai soil.
